Wish (College time) came true : Metallica In Bangalore

I am not sure but it was 1999-2000 or around that time that one of my friend Amol Kolhe copied a 15 GB rock/metal collection to my hard disk (15 gb out of 40 GB was a big deal at that time) which consisted of ACDC,Iron Maiden,Deep Purple and GnR,Metallica to name a few.

First songs from Metallica i heard were - Nothing else matters (no surprise here) - Fade to Black - Fuel and Sad but true,Unforgiven and Seek and destroy and Master of puppets and trust me rest is history.

Since that day i have always been a great fan and always wanted to watch them live.

When i came to Bangalore i saw lots of bands performing here and so expected Metallica will perform soon but it took almost 8 yrs(wait-time for me - for India it was 20 yrs) for them to perform here in India. Now add a little drama there - Delhi show got cancelled and my friends and i were not sure if this would happen in Bangalore.

But anyways we watched them live at Palace Grounds Bangalore and it was worth every trouble we took (around 7 hrs and little more on our feet, rain, mud everywhere, insane crowd(insane by numbers around 22k tickets were sold) and last but not the least - our poor aching legs but you know what: IT WAS FRIGGING WORTH IT.

Hetfield screamed - Bangaloreeeeee we are with you  are you with usssssssssss and it was all magical from there on.

A college time craze/wish came true it was an experience worth remembering - memory worth cherishing with my best buddies Ansari and Shama it was just icing on the cake.

Thanks Metallica for the killer show  Bangalore Loved it.

Agneepath (2012) - Movie Review (Its a remake - not a ripoff Rating : 4/5)

Original Agneepath(1990) in which Big B played Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Danny Denzongpa as Kancha Cheena is considered a cult revenge movie.Big B also won a national award for the same. Remaking a movie which was famous for award winning performances and solid dialogues was much of a dare - but Karan Johar produced and Karan malhotra directed Agneepath (2012) does not dissapoint at all.First things first : Its a remake - not a ripoff - and that works bigtime in favor of the movie. Story is same but the treatment is way different and that makes sure that comparison does not spoil anything.Hrithik as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan - Outstanding in one word - every scene he has done shows that he has lived the character and he did not need much dialogues as his expressions and eyes do all the talking - his character is all raw no style and only focused on avenging his father's death. If anyone would have done justice to Vijay Chauhan it is Hrithik. Rishi Kapoor as Rauf Lala : Once bollywood&…
